I feel sorry for not posting anything sooner... but I have an explanation as to why.......
I'm ENGAGED!!!
Oh my goodness! It's official! Brad asked me to be his wife at 7:30 Sunday evening. It was the best day I could have ever asked for and I keep looking at the ring in disbelief! :)
We spent our whole day with family and we had a wonderful time eating all of the wonderful food and hiding Easter eggs for the little ones :) We came back to the property and fifth wheel for me to feed Toby and get clothes for the next work day. I was around the corner playing with Toby and when I came around the corner there was a little purple Easter egg- with MY NAME ON IT. What?! I picked it up and opened it slowly, shutting it as soon as I saw the beautiful white gold and diamonds. I whipped around and Brad was standing right there behind me. I kept saying "What is this? Are you for real?!" lol He asked those four words that I have pictured him saying for so long....
"WILL YOU MARRY ME?"
I was bawling and hugging his neck that I don't even remember if I said yes right away. I opened the egg all the way and took out the ring. SO beautiful! He placed it on my finger and commented that I turned around so fast that he couldn't get down on one knee. :) (So typical of someone that is so excited lol) He gets down on BOTH knees and asks again. :) Between crying and laughing I said yes over and over again!
After calling my parents and sharing the great news, swinging by his parents house and finally making it out to my folks, I got to bed around one in the morning! Talk about being EXHAUSTED when I had to get up for work at five in the morning. :) It is so worth it though and the next four months will be filled with lots of planning, crafting and fun!
August 18, 2012 is going to be our wedding date!
